About Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park protects the Ugandan slopes of three dramatic extinct Virunga volcanoes: Mount Muhavura (4,127m), Mount Gahinga (3,474m), and Mount Sabyinyo (3,669m). It is Uganda's smallest national park but offers an ultra-exclusive experience: tracking the habituated Nyakagezi gorilla family and the rare, endangered bamboo-dwelling Golden Monkeys.
